Whenever I move, my brain seems to object with a pang.
Migraine.

Must be from my lack of productiveness all day. Well, not really. I had a little fun with Adobe Photoshop CS2.

Watercolor effect is yayness. It's so fun. That is practically my first product with CS2.

After I struggled with the effect, I downloaded a batch of awesome brushes.

Then I made this:

Haha. I don't remember where I got those cute doodle brushes. But whoever made them, they're awesomely kawaii.

And this is the original image:

Haha. And I'm so fugly. LOL. Fugliest of all the fugly.

I really love Photoshop. :D Like really love it and would give up my education to be a professional Photoshop artist. Seriously. :D

I should really try to be better. I hate being an amateur.

OMG! OMG! OMG!

Haha! I'm so excited! I installed Adobe Photoshop CS2 last night. It's going to be my first time playing with the version since the former love-of-my-life desktop, Berta, lacked the system capabilities needed for the proper operation of CS2. But now Aida, new love-of-my-life notebook computer, has enough space for everything. Literally everything downloadable from the intarnutz. Okay, I'm exaggerating. Fine, almost everything. Haha. And multi-tasking to the limit. xD (Core 2 Duo processor, 4.00GB of RAM, 250GB of HD, 64-bit OS. *winkwink* Yes, I brag! Haha! xD)

But what I'm really excited about is the brushes for CS2! Can you believe how incredible the brushes made for this version are? Those hi-resolution 1000px++ brushes. O_O Those beautiful brushes that cause the amateur makers cringe from shame and inferiority! AND ZOMG THEY'RE ALL SOOO FREE.

Way back when all I had was the meager 512MB of Berta and the erm not-worth-mentioning HD, I refrained from visiting those hi-res brush sites. I couldn't stand looking at all the pretty brushes I couldn't download because of specification insufficiency.

I can't imagine going back to the life I had with Berta. Now, I have my lovely, lovely Aida. I can't wait to start photoshop-ping. ZOMG!!!~ I'm so thrilled! :D :D :D But I can't do that until tomorrow. Roommate is tutoring online, so if I start downloading those gazillionMB-sized brushes she'll kill me. ISP is not credible so might as well not risk it. Plus, other housemate is taking an exam online. (So yeah. I'm basically the only bum in this house.)

Here's one of the purrrdey :x brush sets:

To those who are thinking "Who the fcuk are Berta and Aida?" even if I've already obviously described them to be computers...yes, I give names to pieces of machineries. I also introduce them to my friends. And now I will tell you how I came to give Aida her name.

Maybe my habit of naming inanimate objects seems strange to others. But, oh well. Haha. My former roommates and some of my friends have already started naming their possessions due to my influence. xP

I am making a poster design for a friend's org:

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

No stealing. :[

I am bound to make their tarpaulin design as well.

And all I get is a can of Pik-Nik.

Then, I have to try designing the dorm's publicity materials for the Formal Dinner.

And I'm not even going to attend the event.

Haha.

Life is so ironic.

Then, Miss is talking about updating the school department's website.

And I thought having no academic organization will make my life easier.

Wrong.

I am tired.

Dead tired.

I'm getting tired of receiving junk foods as service charge. Haha. I think I'll change it to cash after these projects.

I need a bigger memory module if I'm going to install Photoshop CS. But I am very brrroke. (This is the reason why I hate not having a job.)

I already tried lineart in Photoshop. Pretty much like vectors where you use the pen tool. It's hard unless you have a picture to trace. I wanted to make a chibi of myself, here's the result of my efforts (obviously, I failed):

It sucks, I know. xD But I'm just starting, that's just my second lineart. Below is my first, Peacemaker Kurogane's Suzu:

I don't know what the third is going to be. I wanna try making more chibis!~ My stomach is making weird noises again. I need my milk. Bedtime.

For enrolment.

Help. T___T

I. Am. Very. Broke.

I'd be more than willing to quit. But it's like a happy pill. Five years of Adobe Photoshop addiction. Version 7.0 loyalist. But I'm thinking of using a CS version for good.

Vectors are love. That post-it note is a vector. I was searching for an online tutorial but the the ones I found all used the Layer Warp tool, a function that can't be found in v7.0. Either there's no Layer Warp tool in v7.0 or I just couldn't find it. Anyway, you can warp texts but not normal layers. (If you rasterize a text layer, warping is disabled.) So I just made a vector. Though the shadow is a bit weird, I'll work on it.

And I want to try line art.
